Linux Foundation now spends only 2% of their revenue on Linux

The Linux Foundation has released their 2023 Annual Report... and it is an absolute doozy.

The first big headline?

As of 2023, The Linux Foundation now spends just 2% -- that's two percent -- of their revenue on their namesake: The Linux Kernel.

"Ask yourself this: If there is a foundation named after a specific thing... what percentage of that foundation's revenue would you expect to be spent on said thing?

Let's say... "Save the Orange Trees Foundation". How much of their revenue should be spent on, you know, orange trees? 100%? 50%? 10%?

If "Save the Orange Trees" only spent 2% on "saving Orange Trees"... would you think that something was amis? Of course you would. And you would quickly wonder what non-Orange-Tree related things that foundation is funding.

With that in mind, let's look at Linux Foundaton funding of Linux... compared to their investments in "Blockchains" and "Artificial Intelligence".

Here is one for you... They are based in Oregon U.S.A. as a non-profit In the States a non-profit can only spend "I think" 28% on anything "other" than the intended non-profit goal and intentions such as Administration. All but that 28% MUST be proven to be spent on your claimed non-profit CAUSE. In this case LINUX.

So they are already guilty of fraud and tax evasion by U.S. IRS Laws.

https://www.linuxfoundation.org/legal/bylaws

Linux : 2%, Blockchain : 4%, A.I. : 12%

So this is 18% right? Where is the other 82% going? Administration? MS devs to steal Linux?

From page 70 of their annual report:

Our commitment to diversity, equity,
and inclusion (DEI) continued across the
organization in 2023, beginning with our events,
which we proudly use to create diverse and
inclusive spaces in open source that we
hope foster more diversity.
Our existing event initiatives continued in
2023, including:
⊲ An adherence to the LF Event Code of
Conduct at all events, which all event
participants must agree to follow in the
registration process
⊲ Policies against all-male panels and
speaker lineups
⊲ Free childcare at LF and many project events
⊲ Nursing rooms, pronoun stickers, all-gender
restrooms, zen zones, and prayer rooms
across LF and most project events
⊲ Hosting the Diversity Empowerment Summit
at Open Source Summit North America
(OSSNA) and Europe
⊲ Closed captioning and multilingual captioning
across most event recording sessions for
expanded accessibility
⊲ DEI special event activities, including
women and non-binary networking lunches,
diversity lunches, and receptions that include
Ally guest

“”Ask yourself this: If there is a foundation named after a specific thing... what percentage of that foundation’s revenue would you expect to be spent on said thing?”

Fortunately, the Clinton Foundation didn’t have this problem, they spent 95% of their income on the Clintons.

“Inclusive” and “diverse” are code words for anti-white hate.

Good Lord. That list is frightening. Explains a lot about that 98% that didn’t go to Linux.

They seem to be really good at including irrelevant, feel-good happy-snaps as background in their annual report. They also seem to be very good at writing obfuscatory word-salad, while hiding what they really spend money on.

Anybody bitching about microsoft or apple or google better not be holding these people up as paragons of virtue.

They have elected a bunch of Microsoft representatives and officers to their foundation board because MS basically bought the Linux foundation.

Time to become proactive and let them know how happy we are about this...

““Inclusive” and “diverse” are code words for anti-white hate.”

Actually they are keywords for skimming and laundering funds into personal pockets. Just Like the Black Lives Movement did.

Not defending Linux Foundation, but a charitable organization must spend more than 51% of their income on the stated goals in the orgs charter filed with California SoS. Almost all charitable orgs use extremely vauguely stated goals in their charters so that expenditures can be used on almost anything other than Administrative expenses. I havent read this org’s charter so I can’t speak to how specific its charitable goals are, but based on those I have seen (and created) I would be amazed if they were specific enough to warrant legal action.

As clergy in Ca I had a non-profit status. And unless they lowered the bar it was at the time 28% “anything other”.

The Board of Directors, pictured on Page 9. White and east Asian.

The Open Wallet ‘fireside chat’ keynote: two women. They have a policy of no all-male panels ... but have no problem with an all-female panel.

Open Mainframe Summit 2023, pictured on page 99. Again, White and Asian. Hmmm ...

Gotta love the Summer Learning Program logo on Page 122. All faggotry, all the time.

They blather about “diversity”, but even they seem to be finding that competence isn’t particularly “diverse”.
