Authorities have identified two suspects who attacked a Chipotle employee in South Carolina after being told that extra chicken would raise the price of their meal.
Jamel Bernard Williams, 36, and Kayla Nicole Pyle, 34, both of Charlotte, have been accused of attacking a 20-year-old female Chipotle employee on December 10.
Williams has been charged with assault and first-degree battery and Pyle with assault and second-degree battery.
According to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, Pyle came into the fast food restaurant to place an order and reportedly asked for extra chicken.
The unidentified employee told the customer that the extra chicken would cost more.
A dispute arose about the order and 'words were exchanged' between Pyle and the victim, according to authorities.
Afterwards, the young adult decided to end her shift and began to leave from one side of the dining room, but at that moment, Williams, who is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, walked in from the other side and approached her.
Officials said the accused man pushed the employee to the floor and began hitting her, pulling her hair, and jerking her around.
They further said Pyle joined in and started hitting the employee.

Damn Irish!
This is why I never allowed my teensge daughter to work a fast food job in high school.
For that matter every freeper here should not let their son work at one too
Amen
Well, I understand the feeling. Chipotle is a rip off. It’s bland. The portion is much less than it used to be. And it’s expensive.
Should have gone to Chick-fil-A instead.
Good move.

I think we have spoiled black people over the past 20 years. The Harvard president is a good example. We are not doing them any favors. We need to hold them responsible like everyone else.
I don’t feel your personal opinion is relavant and in any event, it’s certainly no justification for the beat down of the young girl by the huge assailant and his accomplice.
It does look like they both like their burritos WITH EXTRA CHICKEN.
So, about the same as the military academies?
Don’t be silly. It’s they that will be holding us responsible. /s
I was making a comment that Chipotle sucks. So their customers are pissed off. Then an incident like this happened.
I recognize that inflation isn't funny. So they have to adjust their prices for that.
At least when you go to Five Guys, they give you a whole bag of fries. Even though you're paying $3,890.99 for it. At least you think you're getting a good deal.
Just my two cents.
Execute thugs when they act like thugs. I don’t care what color or sex they are.
My motivation was actually based on armed robberies of fast food businesses back in late 1990’s. Agree with your updated info… sad to see how dangerous these jobs have become.
