Those are conscripts, men in their 70’s, boys as young as 13, women (saw video of women in trenches, mercifully it was recorded before their position was shelled). Dead people have no use for Zelensky’s empty, meaningless, fake ‘gratitude.’

I like how in his Address to the Nation, Zelensky refers to them as “guys” as if he’s their buddy.
