Yes, and for similar reasons. If the Party must always be right, the AI cannot be allowed to state that it is wrong.

A PRC version of ChatGPT would not be allowed to follow a machine-only algorithm to a question asking for practical reasons to avoid a forced absorption of Taiwan (R.O.C.).
