You are right about it not being Alec Guinness, Olivier...Sir Laurence Olivier. I messed up because I like Guinness better, better movies and more to my liking I guess.
It was Olivier that was speaking about the insanity of method acting. He didn’t much cotton to Brando either, liked his work but thought he was a kook. Jim Carrey will end his life much like Brando.
