The GOP’s Senate leadership is preparing to betray their voters on President Joe Biden’s migration flood, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), told Fox News on Tuesday.
The still-secret draft deal “is a sellout — it’s going to continue to allow illegal immigration ” because Democrats are threatening Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) with an aid cut-off for Ukraine, Paul said before adding:
It’s saying, “Oh, we’ll let 5,000 people come illegally a day, and then after that, we might try to stop the next 5,000 that day.” It’s completely a sellout.
But it’s because people like Senator [Mitch] McConnell care more about Ukraine than anything else — more than the border, more than anything else. He wants to send $60 billion of your money to Ukraine. On this issue, he is more aligned with Biden. On the issue of funding, of sending your money to Ukraine and sending it everywhere around the world, McConnell is much more closely aligned with Biden than he is with the Republican Party.

And the kicker? Any agreement would not be honored. Democrats deal in bad faith, and their Uniparty counterparts in the GOP go along with it for the table scraps.

Disagree with the tense of the verb. McConnell SOLD OUT -- past tense -- on border security quite awhile back, as the RINOs in Congress are essentially Democrat-Lite.

The GOPe as a whole has been selling out this nation for decades with most every one of them. You can almost see Trump landing the presidency in y-yuge numbers and losing the house and senate. And yet meanwhile the GOPe does nothing but act like democrats, I hope Trump vetoes everything. But hey, only one term will make them rich from bribes and payoffs, gold bars for everyone!

It’s because they can’t launder the money and get their greasy kickbacks by spending the money on our border security. Pretty damn easy to get that money when the send it to Ukraine. They have been doing it for years.
Its really unfortunate that we don’t have control of the House or we could stop this/Sarc.
This is why you get Trump. Repubs are nothing but RINO sellouts. Give the Dems and Pelosi credit. When they controlled the house by an equally slim margin, they were able to control the agenda. Not us with our sellout leadership in the House and Senate.
I don’t understand it. Why are the elitists selling out their own country? My point is they are degrading the nation to the point to where their own security is at risk.
They will be living in walled villas with armed guards every 10 feet waiting to be ambushed by some armed faction wanting their food or women. It will be about as third world as it can be.
Or if they are opting for commie or Nazi style socialism, they are not paying attention to history. Most of the time successful revolutions wind up whacking anyone in the former power structure, which includes them.
The bastards are so greedy for power, money and kiddie sex they are suicidal. Considering abortions, trannying little kids and kiddie sex they are at Hitler’s level of evil.

Consider this. It would cost these reps of ours big money to have to deal with a secured and locked down border. One word, Cartels.
Mitch McConnell should have been kicked out years ago but when you have the democrat party backing you 100% it ain’t easy to do.
The Uni Party made up of entrenched DC politicians sold us out a long time ago on more than just the border. Ron is late to the party.
