BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A Cocoa woman was arrested on Sunday after a robbery was reported at a local convenience store, according to the police department.
In a probable cause affidavit, police said they were called to the store at 2009 N. Cocoa Blvd. around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, police were told that two women — identified as Mercy Thomas, 23, and Timetrea Smith, 28 —had entered the store, and began throwing food and damaging merchandise, the affidavit says.
Surveillance footage showed Thomas yelling at a couple in the store before throwing a container of mac-and-cheese and some of the store’s potato wedges on the ground, police said.
The couple tried to escort the two women out of the store, though Thomas then pushed over a container of pickled sausages, causing them to scatter on the floor, according to the affidavit.
Investigators explained that after being threatened with a call to the police, Thomas snatched the wife’s iPhone and ran off. Thomas reportedly yelled something and pointed toward the nearby road as though the phone had been thrown there, the affidavit shows.
Police said that the husband was able to write down the license plate number for Thomas’ car, and he opened the car door to try to turn off the vehicle and prevent the two women from getting away.
However, Smith allegedly began punching the husband in the head, causing him to retreat, police added.
The affidavit states that while walking away, the husband was also punched from behind by Thomas. She and Smith then drove away, police said.
In a later interview with officers, Thomas admitted to taking the wife’s phone, police said.
Thomas was arrested and faces charges of robbery, battery, criminal mischief and hindering communications to law enforcement. She was released later Sunday afternoon on a bond of $8,000.

This is a pandemic. The disease of ABL has spread exponentially. It used to be a regular occurrence - now it is ubiquitous. I don’t even want to be around black persons any more unless I already now they are domesticated. If I go in some shop and there a bunch of them in there, I come back later to avoid being an innocent bystander in their antics.
Many of these are in no way intellectually incapable of functioning in a modern civilized society. They should be rounded up and shipped back to the sub-saraha where they’ll quickly learn to “function” in order to survive.
But only Thomas was charged. Timetrea wasn’t?
