The partisan mix in the country is 45% Independent and 27% GOP, 27% Dem. The bulk of voters reject that career politicians of both parties — AND THEIR POLICIES.
The focus is the issues, and the issues are Drain the Swamp, Build the Wall and American First in All Things.
Independents reached the most basic of conclusions before anyone else — that there will never be any sort of fix for money allocation. $34T overwhelms everything. Fighting to have spending cuts of $50 Billion MEANS NOTHING. It is an insignificant amount — and no, it is not a start. It does not establish a path.
