Some really great comments, that have actually convinced me that Ben Carson, should not be his choice.
I think he needs someone young, fierce and loyal to him. Preferably, female or a black man.

I think that he should select the best person that he can find for the job. Gender/skin color should play little if any role. I see those who consider that criteria as pandering, which is not in Trump's character. Otherwise, you are spot on.

Exactly! Trump will score no points just by picking a black VP. Liberals hate black conservatives. They’ll say Carson is a token, an Uncle Tom, whatever. They will continue to call Trump a “racist” just as much as they ever did.
