Two words: Eagle Syndrome. Or, as my neurologist said, “you have razor blades in your neck.” Had I gone to a chiro, as some doctors suggested, I easily could have died. Those sharp-pointed, brittle & very elongated styloid processes could’ve snapped & sliced my internal jugulars.

·Left hemispheric stroke, chiropractic visits can be dangerous if you have abnormally long styloid process, the aggressive movement might lead to dissection of the ICA and embolization/ stroke. The name is Eagle syndrome.
