I think it's safe to say that the EV fad may be over and hopefully the same can soon be said that government mandates and subsidies for EV's will be over too.

We'll still have some EV's being sold in the free market for consumers to which an EV is practical (married couple with two cars so one can be ICE and the other EV, can charge at home, live in a warm climate, and drive enough miles every year so that the gas savings more than offsets the extra costs of owning an EV). I fall into that category. And I'm sure there will be other EV buyers still believing in the warmageddon cult.

No, they’ll continue to push it in spite of its failures. It is a religion to them. It is a religious war and common sense be damned.
