Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva has staged the comeback of the day at the Australian Open, rallying from 5-1 down in the deciding set to deny Frenchwoman Diane Parry 1-6 6-1 7-6 (10-5) in a match tiebreaker.
Andreeva staved off a slow start and survived a match point late en route to toppling Parry in an epic, back-and-forth encounter.
It's the second dramatic victory in as many days for Andreeva after she demolished her mentor, sixth seed Ons Jabeur, in straight sets.
Andreeva, who has fast become one of the most exciting prospects on tour, carried the goal of simply sharing the practice court with Jabeur into the tournament.

She plays well, she's kinda cute, and she's a she.
FYI she’s 15 or 16.
She’ll do very well in a couple of years when she gets stronger.
Her form and placement are already excellent.
You are correct and I am aware, She is definitely worth watching Sportswise, and definitely worth watching.

I only watch F1 and some tennis. Mostly Djokovic, Alcaraz, Sabalenka, Rybakina, and any hot chick I see.
Don’t expect ESPN to give this much coverage. She’s not black.
They could probably market her “hairstyle” in that photo. I’m sure there are sprays and such to do that.
The hairstyle is dictated by Physics.
I’m aware the hair flying is due to her jumping around, I just think from seeing those high fashion images at times that as a rising tennis star who chooses to wear her hair mostly loose, they could likely market it, like wheaties box images, various apparel, etc.
I know, I’m not yanking your chain, I just look at sports as an observer (one can still see excellence and skill), not an enthusiast, it’s fine if someone else is an enthusiast.
