Them vs. U.S. The Two Americas and How the Nation’s Elite Is Out of Touch with Average Americans
Committee to Unleash Prosperity ^ | January 2024 | Committee Staff

Elite thinking, as it’s termed, is under attack – and rightly so – for being out of step with the rest of the country. Below, we highlight some of the profound attitudinal differences between elites and average Americans: • In a time when most Americans have suffered a loss of real take-home pay, 74% of elites say they are financially better off today than in the past versus 20% of all Americans. • Nearly six in ten say there is too much individual freedom in America – double the rate of all Americans. • More than two-thirds (67%) favor rationing of vital energy and food sources to combat the threat of climate change. • In stark contrast to the rest of America, 70% of the Elites trust the government to “do the right thing most of the time.”

This is from Scott Rasmussen's current polling outfit.

It contrasts the attitudes of the top one percent, and Ivy League graduates, vs the rest of America.

Elites control the future because they control the Institutions. This polling suggests nothing good is coming in America's future, unless this current elite is overthrown.

Because Globohomo is Global, I am certain that similar polling in other Western countries would show similar results.

All you have to do is watch the Automotive Industry.

They tried to cram EV’s down our throats and they are being roundly rejected . In reality EV’s offer nothing, nothing at all, and it is just a financial control thing.

DJT is the next big thing starting now.

“Between half and two-thirds of Elites favor a BAN on a list of modern conveniences – gas stoves, gas-powered
cars, air conditioning, SUVs, and “non-essential air travel” – meaning no relaxing vacation flights to Hawaii,
Bermuda, or Miami Beach. More than two-thirds of the Ivy Elite school college grads would ban each of
these. “

the “Ban agenda” from Ivy Leaguers goes far beyond just forcing EVs.

“Robert McNamara”
The Prince of Failure
The only “whiz kid” thing about him was when he took out his tally-wacker to pee.

Ok...YOU FIRST !!! When you are living at energy consumption rates equal to the poorest then maybe we can talk. But as it stands now...that's a hard no.

Our “elites” are in government, and the closer to the center of power in DC one goes, the worse it becomes. The Left wants to make it about class and money - and that certainly is part of it, as America’s richest oligarchs all need ties to government.

Consider someone like Peter Strzok. He wasn’t highly paid, but he had a messianic (and fascist) vision of his role, the role of the FBI and the role of the vast intel apparatus in forcing his values upon America.

Trumps speech at the inauguration should be from the Oval Office. No celebrating. Get to work which means signing the executive orders BEFORE his speech begins.

Strozk’s position put him right at $150.

He also lived in an urban area, and has a masters degree from Georgetown.

He basically checks all the boxes for the elitee polled by Rasmussen.

I don’t think the elite is out of touch with the average American. They just don’t give a damn what the average American thinks.

They certainly know the average American, for instance, does not like and is outraged by Biden’s immigration policy. You don’t see them jumping to change it.

The elites have different attitudes.

And elites usually get what they want. Regardless of popular opinion.

Look at immigration policy in the last 60 years.

that salary, in DC, is nothing special, I hope he bought his house decades ago, because otherwise, he's looking at 1+ hour commute to the office, one way. Which is my point - he's not a financial elite (people on Wall Street, MIC CEOs, Nancy Pelosi, etc..), but by dint of of his position and power, he very like views himself as a poor but noble intellectual, protecting "American Democracy."
