Naperville City Councilman Josh McBroom is adamant the city should not use taxpayer dollars to house or aid migrant families amid the continued and growing influx of asylum-seekers to the Chicago area.
However, he would welcome Naperville families being given the option to host migrant families instead.
McBroom brought the idea forward at the Naperville City Council’s Tuesday night meeting.(snip)
With a new precedent of buses arriving announced in the suburbs, McBroom said Tuesday “there’s increasing pressure for some suburbs to … do (their) part.”
(snip) McBroom broached the possibility of creating a sign-up sheet for local households willing to host migrant families.
“We do have a very affluent community. A lot of big homes,” he said. “What I’d like to do is direct staff to create a sign-up sheet for individuals that would be willing to house migrant families. And if there’s people that would do that, God bless them.”

When you read an article what is missing is MORE IMPORTANT that what is there.
Has he opened up his home to immigrants?
Let me guess... they’ll use taxpayer money aka YOUR MONEY to destroy YOUR neighborhood thanks to people taking cash from the feds to “house” illegals NEXT DOOR to you.
Make sure you wave to the bums / illegals loitering in front of your house as you drive away in the morning to your job that funds them and maybe if you are nice to them they won’t rob your house while you’re gone or rape your family.

Man that town has changed, as so many suburbs have, overrun by college idiot liberals. I can just see the NIMBY folks there who voted for this giving this lip service, and then being adamant about not turned into Aurora.

Easy to move migrants into your house.
Impossible to get them to leave.
Families who would agree to such a crazy idea had better arm their wives and daughters. And hide all their valuables. Even that might not help.

If they implement this, within a few months there will be reports of stealing, rape, assault, hate, and inability to adjust to a different way of life.
I doubt the residents will think of one very important thing: that their hosting is assumed to be permanent, and that it will include room and board, and other financial responsibility. And how will they go about telling the “migrants” that it was nice, but that it’s time to end the happy relationship?

Their Part is NOT to take in illegals, risking their lives in some cases- There part is to work- earn a living, and provide for their family- and NOONE else! Citizens have already done their part!
We are not responsible for illegals pouring into our country ILLEGALLY=- The left are responsible for that- and they are the ones that ‘need to do their part’ since they welcome them in with open arms- The left allow them in en mass and want to shove the problems that come with it off onto others- THEIR policies are why our nation is having this problem- so they can deal with it and leave the rest of us out of it!
It is obvious that they can’t handle it, and as such they need to shut the border down once and for all, and deport illegals here already! They need to Stop foisting their problem off onto everyone else- WE have no responsibility to take unknown people who are already committing crimes into our homes-
and WE do not need to take people who have not been tested for incurable communicable diseases into our homes- (The left refuses to even test them to make sure they aren’t bringing in old world diseases like tuberculosis)
We have done our part- the fact is the left need to do THEIR part and do what is necessary for ruining our country by allowing criminals to pour across our borders-
While there are some pockets of conservatism in that area, it is basically overrun with Left Wingers and also very affluent.
If they can't find citizens there to take in illegals, they won't find anyplace.

These AHs think it’s compassion to let in illegals like it’s as simple as having a exchange student. I live in blue as blue can be NJ and there’s no way they would accept housing illegals. Trenton would have to mandate it by state police and national guard and that’s not happening.
