Not sold on the South Dakota governor.
You know who I really want but he's never mentioned.....

My only concern re: Gov Sanders is her health issue. Is her cancer gone? If so, she’s fine.
She gave vouchers for school choice here in Arkansas. Really p.o.’d the “progz”. If anything, I’d love to see her become Secretary of Education, and take vouchers national.
Rand Paul’s health may be forever compromised due to that thrashing he received from his neighbor, some years ago.

I agree Rand Paul would be a great pick, or Tucker Carlson, Sarah Huckabee, or Kari Lake (not because the latter two are women).
My litmus test is whether they are sufficiently hated/feared by the Left, because beyond carrying the MAGA torch, President Trump’s VP will be his insurance policy, like it or not.
Just as we would rather keep Joe Biden where he is than see the idiot Kamala Harris be ordained as the first woman of color POTUS, we need the Left to be in the same spot - actually preferring to keep President Trump alive and well.
From this perspective, it is actually an advantage that President Trump’s enemies see him as an old, term-limited buffoon. Let’s pick a running mate who the Left would see as a threat. Someone young, someone press savvy, someone who - like Trump - is out to destroy the deep state and owes nothing to anyone.
2. The “South Dakota governor” (that would be Kristi Noem) is as close to a perfect fit as you will find for a Trump running mate.
I was watching one of the shows on Newsmax last week. Dr. Gorka was a guest and he stated that he knew who Trump’s VP selection was. He wouldn’t provide a name but he indicated it was a male. NFI.
