This time of year in So Cal we have crows. Lots of them. Woodpeckers too and hummingbirds. My neighbor has a sharp-shined hawk nesting in one of her trees.

Beautiful weather! In the 70s which is causing my irises to bloom early but heard there is an "atmospheric river" headed our way in the next week or two with six inches of desperately needed rain.

I've lost and/or forgotten the name of these b/c they are very old:

I think this one is called "City Lights."

Those burgundy and yellow irises look just like some my mom had in her garden in Florida. I don’t remember their name either.
