My brother told of where he had to give a presentation in High School (speech class or something). His was on how to iron a pair of slacks. He got out the ironing board, iron, water, starch, etc. explaining how to set it up, etc.
“Okay - now we’re ready...Oops - I forgot to bring the pair of pants!” So he takes off his slacks (with his patterned swim trunks as underwear) and irons them. He got an “A”.

In high school, i had to do a demonstration speech. I had to outdo my cousin who years before had the same teacher. He brought in his motorcycle and demonstrated the electric start in class.
I showed how to cut laminated glass. You score both sides with a glass cutter, spray it with alcohol and light it on fire to melt the plastic between both layers of glass. I used way too much alcohol and almost scorched the ceiling.
Yea, I knew what I was doing.
