Then macular degeneration set in and I can’t read books any more. It is so frustrating......

I understand your frustration. I have crippling arthritis and cannot turn pages. Audiobooks are not the same. There is something about the feel and smell of reading a book.

Yep, totally agree. I like audio books when I’m driving, but I’m not behind the wheel that much. I find elsewhere my mind wanders off too easily.

Of course, there were times when I would find myself reading and re-reading a paragraph in a book four or five times!
