I couldn’t agree more. They talk a good game, but then are unwilling to value their children over their two-income lifestyle, or Mom’s career woman “self-actualization”, or any number of other excuses. Mothers need to stay home with young children, period. No farming the raising of kids out to strangers at daycare. And when they’re older, Mom still needs to be there to see them off in the morning and be there when they come home in the afternoon.
If you don’t want to parent your kids, the government indoctrination centers, AKA “schools”, will be more than happy to raise them for you. Just don’t be surprised when “your” kids return home as uneducated psychologically damaged strangers who hate you and everything you stand for.
I quit my career years ago to become a stay at home mom. Volunteered daily at my kid's school. (And that's before schools got "weird".)
My son is divorced. The judge, without anyone asking, inserted a paragraph into the divorce decree forbidding home schooling. My guess is the paragraph is not legal - but it would be expensive to fight. As in tens of thousands of dollars.
You are exactly right.
Parents have abdicated their God given roles as designed by God and what we reap, we WILL sow.
And private schools are no better than public schools.
