I appreciate not all Freepers will agree with this message but it's powerful and enduring.

In Dr. Paul's thinking that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, he is making two mistakes:
1. the Jews are not your enemy, Dr. Paul, you just hate them, and;
2, the enemy of my enemy is sometimes just an enemy.
Don't wind up as Sotoloff, Feley, and Kayla Mueller wound up due to their antisemitism and self hatred.

Ron Paul said nothing anti-semetic or anti-Israel. He asked, then, what if our policy in Iraq and Afghanistan is as ill-informed as our policy in Viet Nam was? Well, we learned that it was at least as flawed, if not more so.
The United States should be isolationist by nature and interventionist in rare, exceptional cases. That's the only legitimate political stature for a country that is supposed to be built on the idea of limited government. A government that pisses away thousands of lives and trillions of dollars on military campaigns in Islamic sh!t-holes halfway around the world while facilitating an invasion of Third World peasants here at home has no moral claim on any loyalty from its citizens anymore.
If it starts WWIII, then it was very very wrong.

The people of Iran are not the enemies of Istael, the Mullahs are. The people tried to rise up in 2009, and Obama swashed it.
You can be 100 percent for Israel, and belive that we should bring most of our troops home ( certainly from the me and Europe) at the same time.
All started with the Spanish-American War and our increased presence in the Pacific ocean, which started us on the collision course with Japan. Plus moving Naval resources to the Pacific, made us reliant on the Royal Navy to guard the Atlantic, and thus pulled us into WWI, and all that entailed, during and after.
