While most news articles on indoor air pollution tend to focus on candles, the air pollution effects of the products that we use in homes are far wider. The fossil-fuel derived chemicals that evaporate from printing inks, adhesives, coatings, cleaning agents and personal care products are now dominating the pollutants that form ozone in summer smogs and some types of particle pollution; exceeding the effects of emissions from traffic.

Indoor air pollution from a shower? Who comes up with stupid crap? What if you took a shower outdoors? Would there still be pollution?
I thought we took showers to rid the world of indoor air pollution. What am I missing here?

I keep my shower running all the time. It keeps the asbestos popcorn ceiling damp.

Less than the indoor air pollution you produce from being a nasty pig who doesn’t shower?
Rarely. And they don’t brush their teeth either.
