Hot damn! These police officers don’t play!
An allegedly unruly inmate got his behind absolutely handed to him by authorities in Harris County jail in Texas, insane video shows, and now his family is demanding answers.
The footage of the brawl, obtained by FOX 26 Houston, shows inmate D’Alessandro Chavez-Sandoval receiving punch after punch, and molly whop after molly whop, from several detention officers who eventually forced him down to the ground.
Now that the video is out, the family of the inmate is demanding that both federal and state officials open an investigation into the matter.

Dems sitting at home watching viral videos on phones:
“I see the problem right there. No one has ever sat down to just quietly talk with the prisoners. Or maybe offer an acoustical guitar.”
I don’t see a problem there...
Perp was told to shut up after mouthing off, then grabbed the officer when he tried to enforce the order.
Justifiable use of force.
The police officers were not playing with George Floyd, either, but something got lost in the narrative that came out of that encounter. Restraint of an extremely unruly and uncooperative miscreant is held by some as a “restriction” on their “rights”.
But in every situation, any rights are subject to a reciprocal duty to behave in a manner in which shows compliance with an order to cease and desist.
Rabid dogs end up getting shot.
We have a serious law enforcement problem.
While we go through great lengths to make sure we hire squeaky clean cops with extensive background checks, interviews and polygraphs, we miss the target all together by hiring folks that are psychology wrong for the job.
There are a lot of folks in law enforcement that have absolutely no business being there, i.e. folks on a power trip, immature, trying to prove their manhood or how tough of a woman they are.
These folks are dangerous.
To really be good at law enforcement (i.e. policing) it requires a degree of maturity and calm that many of these hot heads don’t have.
Step right up and show all.
On one hand, it’s better for the officers to take the long view in any given situation...also saves them unwanted attention like this incident. The punches weren’t a great idea just get his punk ass to the ground. It gives the thugs ammo for lawsuits too. This punk could get rich off of this. The officer is only human though and I get the impulse to beat hoodie-boy down.
On the other hand, I’m tired of law enforcement being chronically disrespected in our society. I’m no cop lover but if no one listens to LEOs then we have only chaos. I don’t like chaos.
Better that than a full up mag dump.
Why would good people want to be cops these days?
Remember - that’s the fourth most liberal county in Texas (behind Travis (Austin), Bexar (San Antonio), and El Paso.
If you’re ever in Houston
Well, you better do right
You better not gamble
There, you better not fight, at all
Or the sheriff will grab ya
And the boys will bring you down
Sure,
He should of just shot him dead./ Sarc
It’s called excessive force and if your kid got the shit beat out of him, you wouldn’t say this.
Some cops think they’re frigging infantry and dealing with enemy combatants in a foreign country.
Some cops (women) are physically incapable of dealing with bigger and more powerful men and are forced to escalate force more quickly.
Law enforcement in the US does have issues. It starts with who we hire and then how we train these folks.
MOST cops are good, they do care, and are professionals, but some are kids with badges and guns, or mental midgets trying to prove something, and those guys cause these sort of issues.
Somebody needs to spend “a night in The Box”.
FOX26 enemedia mouthpieces really slanted their “reporting” to the radical left viewpoint. The inmate’s behavior warranted his spending more time being physically instructed by the police on how not to behave.
I expected something like that, but clearly we are not watching the same video. The officer was the first to place hands. And also the first to throw a punch. I would say that the “Perp” was acting in self defense to a brutal assault. Not sure how you get anything else from that video.
Exactly. I have a solution where family members would not complain about it either. Waiting for the opportunity to stop all of this madness.
The perp got what he asked for.
Good. Beat the living crap out of him.
