And let’s not forget the time Facebook flagged a post from a straight white person simply because they were sharing a recipe for vanilla ice cream. Apparently, they thought it was a secret code for something sinister. Don’t worry, folks, it was just a chilly misunderstanding.
At the very least, in order to make minority and victim groups feel like things are more ‘equitable’, they have to censor the celebration of non-minority groups, even though statistically speaking they are in-fact a minority.
However, what is really being revealed is institutionalized systemic racism. You would NEVER EVER be able to make discriminating against just about any other group an actual protocol or procedure. But you can with cis/hetro white males. It’s malice disguised as ‘justice’ or ‘rights’
