Everybody has a zinger in them once in awhile. As far as Trump’s handling of COVID, I agree - he saddled himself with very poor choices in appointments. Give him a little slack though; he was a complete neophyte in regards to Washington, and had to trust somewhere. If you look at who he appointed, most at first glance would appear to be well qualified for the positions.

As there are several to whom you have commented, this requires a response. The New York Times was slime in the Duranty era, and remains slime to this day. He, was a Stalin apologist and outright liar.
Moreover, not only the slimy New York Times, but the Pulitzer folks have basically said, "oh, what the heck."

As far as I am concerned, he trusted too many who proved not only RINOs but who worked against him. This next time around, I hope he restricts his choice to true conservatives and more true conservatives.
In other words, not a Bolton, not a Pompeo, not a Pence, and more.
