I prefer my old timer, it’s small but razor sharp.
You could do surgery with it. Great thing about being that sharp, ya don’t feel it when you cut yourself.
Now you’ve gone and done it. Great knives at that site. I’ve got one of the original Cold Steel tantos. That hangs upside-down on my chest rig over my heart. It’ll do most anything I’d ask it to.
I’d drive him nuts. I just bought a new CUV, and bought $100 or so of basic roadside emergency tools. Small 12V compressor, tire plug kit. Needle nose pliers to be able to remove the screw that caused the flat. Bit type screwdriver with about 2 dozen bits and sockets. 20’ nylon tow strap. Duct tape and zip ties. Some disposable gloves. A disposable poncho.
It all hides underneath the panel in the back, next to the tire change tools. It’s all an insurance expense, stuff I hope I never have to use, but will be damn glad to have should I need it. I’d much rather plug a tire than wait two hours for roadside assistance, or a tow, or having to use a space saver spare.
I did put most of it in a nice small cordura-type black nylon tool bag. So I’ve got that going for me! Oh, and there’s a first aid kit back there, that was a dealer option. Also another tool bag that has some cyalume sticks and collapsible hazard triangles, a few other things. So three small bags of gear.
If I could have only one knife it would be the BKR7. If purely for self-defense, however, I’ve got a modified K-Bar that I picked up on eBay that I believe dates back to WWII. It clearly is intended for but one purpose.
This.

My K-Bar has never let me down.
You might consider adding some F4 tape to that bundle, for just-in-case.
“Now you’ve gone and done it. Great knives at that site.”
Does that mean you bought some new candy?
Just a smaller copy of a Guerka, or the Serengeti ranger knife, which can take a hand off no problem
Maybe in the next month or so. Money’s tight.
All the pretty candy will still be there when you are ready.
