I’m surprised they didn’t “discover” that his great great grandfather was black which would explain his musical talent. It is black history month after all.

His late string quartets achieved the pinnacle of art.

He was both mostly bedridden and deaf when he wrote them without even a piano. Which he could not hear anyway.

He could have had severe food allergies, too-and it isn’t like there was any way to know about gluten intolerance, IBS, etc. the food choices were pretty limited for anyone who wasn’t a rich noble who could have food grown in a glass/green house or literally-shipped from someplace else...
