I sure hope the truckers continue with this. There are plenty of rats that could be caught and eaten.....they hang out around the dumpsters. And there is also the rodent variety.
The Rotten Apple needs to starve.
This is either falling flat or the media is burying the story. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of how this is going so far?
Ghetto-nurtured Letitia James’s had a dream.......to “get Trump.”
She articulated her vendetta against Trump December 13, 2018, shortly after her first election and before she took office. James emphasized that her focus would be to use her tax-financed office on
<><>somehow getting Trump,
<><>conceding she had no basis to believe that wrongdoing had occurred.
James, a Democrat, told NBC News after she was elected DA:
<><>she would use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions
<><>and his family as well.
<><>she outlined some of the probes she intended to pursue
<><>involving “potential illegalities” of Trump’s real estate holdings in New York.
When the investigation began, the ghetto-nurtured “James had just a dream.” but no inkling of what, if any, wrongs might have been committed “involving Trump’s real estate holdings.” Significantly, no complaining party was asking her office for redress.
In this case, “Trump is the one accused of preying on lenders” for better terms....very sophisticated lenders who are fully capable of protecting themselves.
Lenders who haven’t asked the attorney general for help.
Syracuse University law professor Gregory Germain said that the “attorney general’s job is to protect people who can’t protect themselves.”
Judges are going to have to look carefully at what the powers of the attorney general are here.
Are they so broad that she can invert the law to keep a campaign promise to “get Trump?”
Is she empowered to look at a financial statement, decide what is a “lie” (that nobody believes), then put someone out of business?
They can be reduced to eating maggots for all I care.
As the Soviet era prosecutor said in the 1930’s, “Show me the man and I will show you his crimes!”
Albany is NYS’s capital.
Just as an observation.
If it’s good enough for us, it’s good enough for them.
Chicago Ray the guy who started it said he is backing off of NYC boycott.
If it is at all successful, then NY will likely charge all of the truckers with some sort of B.S. RICO/conspiracy charge.
I’m no expert, but I think one day in from a national holiday (for many people) is too soon to tell. I hope it has legs though. We know the MSM will bury it.
I read yesterday that they had backed down - were probably threatened somehow.
Where did you hear that?
They were supposed to start yesterday. Does anyone know if they actually did?
A garbage strike would be a nice corollary.
The only way to know if it’s working is to wait to see if supplies are running low. This isn’t like the Canadian truckers doing protests. This is ‘quiet quitting’. If I were in NYC I would stock up now.
It would be so cool if the NYC GARBAGE trucks stopped working.
I know, different cohort of truckers. But still...
Folks,
[If the media is NOT covering it, then it’s working.]
If you’d like to know what’s probably going on, you can checking the youtube link below. But before hand, here are some excerpts from the article from yesterday that should help satisfy your concerns (note my last paragraph from my excerpt)..

Watching the socials, I can first give our side a little credit: at least you’ve got their attention. Not that they are going to do anything about it at first, but being NYC (you’ve got to know the place), they’re already making contingency plans just in case the truckers pull this off. So in order to assist, allow this author to lay out some do’s and don’ts from past experience when it comes to this form of civil disobedience.
I’ll start with three important don’ts:
Stop comparing this to the Canadian Trucker Protests of 2022. This was a matter of truckers taking the protest to the Canadian capital and the international bridges. Despite what you saw in the media, the latter got the most attention. Mentioning that protest (which sparked other protests around the world – and still going) too often gets ‘black-pilled’ by our side with folks always remembering that people got their assets confiscated as a result. As I’ve stated in the past, one of the pet peeves I have with Real Americans is their inability or refusal to follow up on stories. If so, they would know that the illegal practice of freezing accounts in that fashion was promptly stopped after a few days – due in part to the subsequent bank-run that it started. Today, you see after the ruling was declared unconstitutional by the Canadian courts, victims are now seeking even more restitutions over these actions. But you won’t hear this from the black pill department. Only that it will fail because ‘they’ll just take your assets if you try’. To those I say, “How January 6th of you!”; which leads to my next ‘don’t:
Stop telling folks it won’t work even before it gets started; that is, unless you have a better idea (we’re all ears). Instead, how about doing what we can to support the effort, and/or asking what it would take to make it a success.
Even if this is a success, do not expect any credit to be given in your regular state-sponsored media. It will be reported as a failure (that is until the illegals go into full-blown riot mode, which is probably coming soon, anyway). I fully expect the local media to find truckers who will publicly state they will not go along with it. So don’t be shocked or disheartened when you see this.

I’m not in favor of all boycotts, but boycotting NYC is something I support.
