News media are starting to also, state that there ight be a “Buisiness Exodus” from NY too- (some businesses have already left, but others are said to be seriously contemplating leaving after they learned that ny could at any moment rule agaisnt any company, fine them, and refuse tk allow them to do business there for years... who needs that kind of tyranny when other states would be happy to host businesses without threatening them with corrupt judges and judicial system?)
I never saw how this could work. Trucking companies have contracts to deliver and can’t pay truckers to sit. That leaves the 16% who are independents. They need their pay too. How long will they go without pay? Can they fill their time with other routes? NYC has never been popular, they would already be avoiding it if they could make the money elsewhere. It sounds like a lot of emotion with no path to a victory. What will they win by losing thousands of dollars of income?
And even more working class and middle class people will move out, decreasing the tax base.
“Friendly words of advice start stocking up.”
Don’t give the filth any advice that could conceivably help them.
“…because the judge’s $355 million fine was “an absurd ruling.”
The TRIAL ITSELF was a vast absurdity and illegal to boot.
The last paragraph of this story sounds like whistling past the graveyard.
I doubt it will go anywhere. If you look at the demographics of truckers on the east coast you will see endless lines of Indians, Sikhs, Arabs, and Latinos who have no loyalty to the US or the rights protected by the constitution. They will be happy to pick up the slack. I seriously doubt Muhammed is going to worry about Trumps 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th amendment rights. (Heck, I bet the FBI STASI thugs that raided Mar-A-Lago made the staff bring them milk and cookies violating his 3rd Amendment rights.)

Thx. Too bad I can’t read it. They want me to sign up with my email to read it. Sorry, no can do. I’ll take your word for it, though.
