I’m with the Creationists on that ape skulls are apes and human skulls are human. There is no evolution when it comes to transition species. They are apes or they are man, no inbetweens.
I’m of the opinion that ‘Neanderthals’ were just another ‘race’ and not a species, seeing that their genes are still circulating in the human genome. They did not ‘disappear’, they were subsumed into the modern human population..............
Like our advanced cultures, humans evolved in great leaps.
As a mechanic and fixer-upper, I wish there had been born a baby with an extra arm. (Maybe a long and skinny arm...)

The creation is evolution. Adam was formed Adam Man and his descendants became the tribes of Abraham, the chosen people. The Bible is pretty clear on that.
There were people around before Adam, how they got here I have no idea but when Cain was banished who did he go to live amongst? To the Land of Nod which had people dwelling there and there is nothing written of Adam and Eve procreating entire populations to get a significant number of other Earth dwellers.
The ancients called these other populations “Beasts of the field” which was a generalized term.
Sometimes I wonder if the creationists have mentally fashioned some kind of magic wand God. Early churches controlled the narrative and screened information and tradition, literally re-educating the audience thereby changing faith and belief into dogma.
Certainly large numbers had not been invented for many thousands of years. The concept of extraordinary amounts of time was not conceptualized in early oral histories.
The rocks cry out! The evidence physically exists. It’s a glorious past which provides a natural path to our present day.
I kinda agree with you. The missing link does not exist. I have a feeling man was quite intelligent when he first showed up. What changes throughout the ages is education (the real stuff, not leftist indoctrination), science (not today’s fake stuff) and advances in technology.
Take pyramids and other wonders of thousands of years ago, none of this was engineered or built by idiots.
And I believe many advanced technologies have been lost and rediscovered.
