Some Star Wars fans believe Anakin Skywalker can never be fully redeemed for his evil actions as Darth Vader, even though he sacrificed himself in an attempt to make amends in Return of the Jedi.
Star Wars character Anakin Skywalker, once a heroic Jedi, fell to the dark side of the Force and became the ruthless Sith Lord Darth Vader, serving the evil Emperor Palpatine for over two decades. Though initially conflicted about his turn to evil, he fully embraced it and committed countless atrocities across the galaxy. This included leading a siege on the Jedi Temple and murdering children training there. However, when Palpatine attempted to kill Luke Skywalker during their confrontation on the second Death Star, Vader intervened, killing Palpatine and sacrificing himself in the process.

But in the end, he broke those chains of control and made an independent choice to sacrifice himself to save his son and defeat evil.
The last-minute turn from the dark side echoes similar redemptive arcs of other Star Wars characters. Han Solo went from a selfish smuggler to joining the Rebel Alliance and leading daring missions that helped defeat the Empire. Similarly, the character of Asajj Ventress began as a ruthless acolyte of Count Dooku but later rejected the Sith ways and found redemption through self-sacrifice. Both illustrate that those who have strayed morally can still choose to change course and find redemption, even if it comes at great personal cost. Yet whether this final sacrifice outweighs the numerous misdeeds continues to divide fans.

I just don’t care. KK has destroyed Star Wars as a franchise for the time being and only getting rid of her and Disney’s DEI agenda can save the studio. They literally lost money on every film they put out in 2023 and 2024 is going to bad also. Disney + is never going to show a profit by the end of this fiscal year.
Last night I was on YouTube and ran across a trailer for an old Disney film called Moon Pilot, 1962, I saw it when was 7. Well I have a subscription for Disney + so I view some of the stuff they have been putting I read about like, The Mandolarian, which I like.
Anyway you would think they would have the entire catalog of Disney stuff going all the way back to view. Well they don’t, some stuff they have and some they don’t, Moon Pilot they did not have, and I had to go to Amazon to see it.
They don’t have a number of the cool old stuff I grew up with available.
The only good Star Wars film put out since Disney took over Lucasfilm was Rogue One, now they want to get back on track bring that director back and leave him alone. Gareth Thomas.
To me, the first crack in the franchise came about from it’s biggest reveal: that Darth Vader was Luke’s father. And by the time the first trilogy was over, another fissure had appeared: he was Leia’s dad, too.
While I like The Phantom Menace, the whole Midichlorian/The-Force-is-hereditary introduced another and wider one.
Star Wars was no longer about adventure among the stars and its limitless possibilities. It hac descended into family melodrama with painted stars and pew-pew as its backdrop.
The original movie will always be my favorite of all of them because it can stand up by itself.
Forgot to add: ...And the Force was no longer something anyone could tap into with enough knowledge, patience, and practice. It was something passed on to a being and they either had it or they didn’t.
Star Wars was destroyed in 1978 when they made the "Holiday Special".

The Star Wars Holiday Special may be the most cringe worthy production ever to come out of Hollywood and the studio and producers were all on board with it.
