Perhaps he is saying Republicans of both sides meet in the middle of their caucus which is often where a party leader has to be.
i didn’t say meet ‘in the middle.’ i said on common ground where principles are not sacrificed. you’re right that Dems would often have the issue despite a solution being within reach. that was the case on Israel funding bill where many would normally vote for it - but D’s mainly did not in order to use Israel/Ukraine bill
Agree. It’s time to stop trying to meet in the middle bc the middle to liberals is far left. We need to go hard right to get back to the middle
