To add: LET THE CONSUMER MAKE THE CHOICE! You have and for what I consider to be a valid reason.
What I don’t like is the government trying to force this stuff on us.
Last comment on this topic: It also should not be subsidized with taxpayer dollars (it is).
I posted a picture of damage done to the land by mining for cobalt and Facebook fact-checked it. Said it was false information.
Not surprised. Facebook — another leftist cesspool IMHO. Sadly, I still use it a little to keep up with some friends who don’t have any other social media presence and who don’t answer texts etc. Sigh.
And, since EV’s have to carry that heavy ballast all time along, they are not really that energy efficient either.
Their only advantage is that their emissions are generated somewhere around power plants in the countryside, not in the cities.
agree 200%.
Let the best car (or truck) win.
Stop GOV subsidies. (you get crap from GM and Ford with that)
Right now USA has the best car in the world (and best selling).
What’s not to like?
P.S. Build better ICE, as well. I think hybrids have not been done right.
A diesel hybrid could be really interesting.
There’s a Semi that is incredible if you research it.
Basically a CAT diesel used for generator, and a fairly large battery.
Has incredible torgue, and a 600+ mile range.
If we don't get those details right, then we're better off sticking to the larger point of the government having no business getting into our business, including what kind of cars we choose to drive or our access to energy.
Thank you and well said IMHO.
See, they “should’ve had a V-8”....
EV is the Fake Vax of Automobiles
But the breaks don’t when you have regen breaking. I expect my model 3 breaks to last 100k miles. Tires do wear out faster...but it isn’t the weight but rather the electric motor torque!
You ignored the “on average”. So you gave an opinion disguised as fact.
EV Fire Protection Materials, Protecting a US$3.5 Trillion Market
Wowza is right. Also saw your previous comment and link.
LOL. That's funny right there! Thanks for starting my day with a good laugh!
1,850 times more particulate matter...
If true, that would be more evidence that the entire EV push, is a scam.
I ama amazed that insurance companies aren’t having kittens about this.
Insurance companies in CA school customers on wildfire risk abatement.
FL companies ditto for hurricanes.
But there’s bupkis from Insurance companies on how to mitigate any risk in our homes from lithium battery fires.
If there’s a standard for fire containment bags and blankets it’s harder than Hades to find.
UL has been working on it for years apparently with no set standard or advice yet that I can find.
The NFPA hasn’t got anything I can find on what to do in the event of a fire.
As for the aviation industry, we’ll, I haven’t set foot on a plane in decades, and what I’ve been reading just adds to the list of reasons not to change my mind.
What a freaking cluster.
EVs are gay. Fact!
