Indian Land might be cheap compared to beach front property, but thanks to Bidenomics inflation, the price of real estate is up significantly in the past 5 years.
Indian Land is just south of Charlotte. Traffic is a bear. New construction everywhere: single family homes, aparments. Costco and Target are in the works. No plans for new roads. We just built a new high school 2 years ago which is maxed out, wo we need a new one, as well as elementary schools.
Charlotte Hwy, aka Hwy 521 (north/south) is VERY busy most of the day and no plans for widening it in the next 10 years. Also, we are bordered to the west by the Catawba River and only 2 crossing points about 8-9 miles apart.
And lots of blue state refugees. And NO incorporation, and that's a good thing.
Love it here. Just don't recommend it.
Just heard today that there are about 55 homes for sale in Sun City. These are resales. Sun City has about 3,260 homes total. And, NO, I don't live in Sun City, aka "God's waiting room," nor do I recommend moving there.
