An Oklahoma high school has apologized for hosting a vile 'toe-licking' challenge at a student fundraising event.
Deer Creek High School in Edmond has admitted it 'failed to uphold the dignity of our students' over the grotesque competition held February 29.
Outrageous videos of ninth through twelfth grade students licking other pupils' bare feet at the ticketed event called Clash of the Classes quickly went viral online.
'Through this specific game we failed to uphold the dignity of our students and the proud image of our community,' the school district said in a statement March 1.
'We have a responsibility to protect our Antlers and showcase them in a positive light. In regards to this one particular activity, we fell short and for that we greatly apologize.'
'Why is Oklahoma schools so full of perverts?' one parent raged on TikTok. 'I mean come on, what in the world is this?,' she added, talking about the fundraising event.
'My oldest daughter went to school here for a minute. WHAT is this?'
The event raised money for Not Your Average Joe Coffee, which employs people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
Students had to pay to attend the assembly and freshmen through seniors volunteered to participate in a series of class competitions.
The school district also said it's 'taking steps to ensure that this (foot licking contest) is not repeated and that all fundraising activities are carried out with the pride and respect worthy of our students, staff and community'.
'We strive to offer a positive experience for both our students and the charity that our annual fundraising efforts support,' their statement added.
The district pointed out that the fundraising week which the event was part of raised $152,830.38 for local charities.

The behavior will not stop until these people face justice. Admin there needs to be firings and a teacher check for pedophile tendencies.
Well, okay. At least they apologized for the event instead of trying to defend it.
But an apology is not enough. It’s just words. Everyone in the chain of command who allowed this to happen must either resign or be fired. Please, parents. Insist on that.
The kids came up with this on their own.
It was kids licking the toes of other kids. The gross-out factor was part of the challenge. Kids think feet are funny.
I did more dangerous and stupid stuff when I was a kid, because that is the way kids are.
How can any adult fail this way?
There should be no way that any adult should fail children.
When I was in high school in the early 70’s none of the students would have dreamed of participating in something like this.
The failure was a lack of adult supervision. The people associated with the school didn’t come up with this toe-licking thing or participate in it.
It’s Oklahoma, what do you expect. Here in Texas we are a RED STATE, so we would NEVER allow this kind of crap to take place. As a RED STATE, we watch our schools NON-STOP to prevent this - therefore my kids are safe.

Kids do lots of “stupid kids” stuff.(pods, slender man, choke out, “chicken” with cars, jumping offa’ one story roofs..but it is not sanctioned by adults...yech...grotesque...could been sponsored by the local friendly school closet pedophile..
