I live in a state that has Standard time year round.
I have lived Northern and Southern states that use Daylight savings.
I think Daylights savings is BS.
The sun appears in the East and disappears into the West.
That is my natural time clock.
We have a different clock system to better coordinate non-natural human activities, that is fine. However, I think humans function better when they stick to natural events.

Nothing says “gimmick” like Daylight Savings Time.
DST has a dictatorial quality as well. “Move your clocks forward an hour” prepares the way to “do as your told” and “get your vaccine.”
