How will “they” watch me if I turn it off?

Well, you probably are watching television or using your phone.

So don’t worry, they can still; see you.

Just because you turn off your computer and no new site will make you vulnerable, there are certain openings in the system that remain on at all times. Windows has a setting, that upon reboot by windows update, it will relaunch programs that were open, and those programs such as word and excel remember what files were open and open those for you too.

Do you allow open upgrading, do you turn off your clock and date, is your phone attached to the system, online banking...all are open doors for hackers to step through. Do you make sure the computer is not in a program that will remain on for awhile after shutdown attempt and the screen you didn’t look at said it was open? It’s easy to do.

I take it a step further when I dump my history before closing every time. I learned this from the guy that works on my system ocassionally that the first thing he does is erase all memory.
