I turned 72 earlier this year, and in a few months I’ll have 19 years as a signed-up and contributing member of FreeRepublic. I lurked for a year before signing up but that doesn’t count in my book.
I’ve read comments from other FReepers in their 80’s so I know I’m nowhere near the oldest.

My wife tells me that I am a brat. But I look and feel like an old man . Our youngest daughter has grey hair, and a grandson from her is already married and trying to start a family. If it were not for these relatives and memories from previous decades... I would wonder if I wasn’t suffering from Progeria.
