You must wonder why Bezos gave $50 million each to Admiral McRaven and Eva Longoria, in light of his left wing political bias. Both recipients are financially well off and politically liberal. Per Wikipedia (a poor source), Admiral McRaven said he would use the gift to focus on educating the children of deceased veterans, the mental health performance of veterans, and educating the future military leaders, obviously good causes. Eva Longoria contributes heavily to Hispanic female causes, feeding the indigent, and Special Olympics. Perhaps not all liberals are totally evil.

You may be right, but I hope not. At least McRaven’s causes are good, and I have no issue with Longoria’s feeding the hungry and helping the handicapped. But it may be like the Clinton's Haiti “charity”, where actual funds going to the Haitians on the ground were maybe seven cents per dollar.
