You can’t “equity” your way to having everyone with the same HIGH standard, only LOWER everyone to the lowest common denominator.
At some point companies will realize these people are causing an exodus of talent that they can’t afford. But when you’re JUST a DEI officer, what do you care? It just exposes that the people in these roles are often the racists that were supposed to be “reeducated”.
If this nonsense was coming from a successful company it would be a little more compelling. Sadly Warner Brothers Discovery sucks and if you don’t believe me look at the stocks performance over the last couple of years. I could blindly pick a couple of names out of the local phone book, put them on the board and in the C-suite and they would probably do a better job.
