One thing I should have highlighted in the CDC report is that the isolation that was recommended for those was Covid was lowered from two weeks to 24 hours after fever subsides - the same period recommended for the flu. So many lost their mind “protecting” others by isolating for weeks, which wound up doing as much to protect others as Jim Kerry attending a climate conference does to save the planet (nothing).
I live in a blue metro area in flyover country. There are still people wearing masks. It is significant enough to be noticeable, maybe 10% of the population? Our county has a Covid website that tracks Covid cases. Cases, hospitalization, and deaths have been low and the website is updated about once a month or so. The state website with vaccine uptake data and lTCF data went poof about a year ago.
