While providing few details, Gov. Ron DeSantis and state Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie said a flight with 14 people, including children, had departed Wednesday afternoon to go to Orlando Sanford International Airport.
Guthrie said about 500 Americans and 360 Floridians had contacted the state about evacuating.
Guthrie said the state is also working to get people from where they have been staying to an undisclosed airfield in Haiti.

Since he spent between $19-50 million on flights to get 700 people out of Israel, I wonder how many millions of taxpayer money he'll spend in haiti, and if he's hiring mercenaries to provide security for his evacuations.

The Governor was on Fox and Friends this morning explaining how the State of Florida is extracting Floridians from Haiti, primarily Floridians,, but others too. He has people on Haiti gathering them, and he is vetting them as well. Far better than Biden people would ever do. I am a Trump man, but the Governor is doing a great job and I congratulate him.
