I was thinking the same thing.

It’s anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes of “no sun”.

Totality is more than 10 minutes and there is a lot of loss of incoming solar radiation on both sides of it. The suns disc gets covered slowly over the matter of a few hours.

It’s total bullsqueeze. First it makes the obvious lie that electric grids are dependent on solar power. As if there were never any cloudy stormy days and of course as if the sun shined all night. The second is that unreliable solar at best makes up about 6% of the power and has to have backup generation anyway. Green liars strike again. Only Democrats and college students are stupid enough to believe this merde.
