I was there in Jackson last June, it was crowded.
We went up to Corbett’s Cabin and had the waffles. Would recommend.

I drove out there for Spring Break in 1969.
Parking was free.....
Lift Line for the Tram was short and 5 Day lift tickets were affordable.
Snow was the same as now.
Go to Yellowstone. 100 times nicer and more beautiful. Went end of April 2022. No traffic or kids. Hotel 1/3 the price. Snow and scenery was stunning!
I went to Mont Tremblant a decade later and I think paid $80 Canadian for 2 nights in a cabin (before there was a single condo there) 2 days skiing with dinner. Now that's $800.

I grew up in Tahoe. Loved snow sports. It wasn’t very crowded most of the time. Now. Forget it. Hour long waits for a lift? Forget it. I use to “hack” free parking too. It was before all these internet cell based parking schemes. We would just drive up, move the parking barriers, and park all day. Then, when leaving, move the barrier back to where it was.
Although... None of the resorts charged for parking. It just got us closer...

Jackson Hole. Where the billionaires have forced mere millionaires to live in the trailer park just south of town. Where the bunkers for the USGovt officials are sited. And where several high yield Chinese and Russian nukes are targeted.
Gorgeous drive from Yellowstone to Jackson which parallels the Grand Tetons. Great motorcycle ride in summer. Fendi and Carriers in town. Ridiculously expensive. Snowbird/Slta is better.
