Remember the counter bumper stickers to this? “NUKE THE WHALES!”

I had some guy blow around me on I-44 in OKC back in 1977 with an artificial whale on the top of his car. On the sides were large banners proclaiming “SAVE THE WHALES! BOYCOTT JAPANESE PRODUCTS!”

He was driving a Japanese made Datsun.
