Musk is an amazing character whose appeal is a study in contradictions: not an inventor but a great organizer (like Edison,) a self-promoter par excellence, a manufacturer of a product hated by most of those who share his politics, a champion of American nationalism whose fortunes are very directly tied to China. a free speech champion except for when he isn't, a hero of capitalism who has relied heavily on government subsidies, a questioner of vaccination who promotes brain chips.

Unfortunately for Elon, this story isn't far off base.
He sold his soul to the CCP with Tesla, and now Tesla will be put out of business in China due to the ultra low priced competition.
What's worse is, eventually China will demand Space X technology and I'm of the opinion Musk will cave and give them what they want.
