So if one is elderly like the victim and possibly on anti-platelet medications and attacked where potentially you could be hit in the head? One needs to consider that the outcome could be attempted murder or worse as chances are it could lead to intracranial brain hemorrhage. So what to do to defend oneself if one was fortunate enough to be armed? Is it better to be judged by 12 or carried by 6? We all need to decide in such circumstances.
Investigate risks from head trauma amongst seniors and elderly on anti-platelet medications and decide.
