Typical meathead. I still remember my 10-year high school reunion (very, very long ago). Most of the kids had grown out of their high school cliques, and were well-adjusted adults, but the two exceptions were the big football star and his former very “popular” girlfriend. They both proceeded to embarrass themselves as it became more and more obvious over the course of the evening that high school was and would always remain the high water mark in their lives, and 10 years later neither of them had matured one bit beyond that stage. They both behaved exactly like they were still clueless teenagers, getting drunk, putting on a big show of being the “party animals” and pawing at each other and making out in the middle of the banquet. It was pathetic.
High school-age boys tend to get either brains or brawn, but rarely both.

Read your military and presidential history.

I hated high school. Worst four years of my life and that includes four years in the Marine Corps. Even boot camp in Parris Island was better than three months in high school for me.
Never went to a HS reunion as I imagined it would be exactly how you portrayed it. Only people who "peaked in high school" would want to go to those.
