Many schools, aside from the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Texas, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, Oregon, and Wisconsin, face challenges in the post-realignment landscape.

It’s time for the affluent institutions to separate, leaving schools like Vanderbilt, Baylor, Rutgers, and others behind.

Is there a gentleman’s agreement to not have the colleges compete with the NFL on game days? Saturdays are for college but the NFL encroaches on Sundays. I wouldn’t mind seeing some decent college games on Tue/Wed. Even Thursday when you have to pay extra for Amazon Prime.

Isn't it time to get back to higher education not "better" college football?

Or am I the only one who sees college is an institution of higher learning first and foremost?

These proposals are just an effort to keep Vanderbilt from humiliating Alabama like we did in 1969.
