Thank you. I’ve been hearing more and more convincing evidence of the effectiveness of D3 on many body/mental processes. I just started taking it in the past couple of years and it has made a huge difference, even after the passing of my mother.

When my dad passed away in the early nineties, I was a mental basket case.

Urban women in Viêt Nam have heard from their mothers all their growing up years that if they let the sun touch their skin they will turn black and never get a husband. They completely covered themselves when out of doors. Rates of Depression were high among them and manic Depression leading to suicide is, like flu and colds, regarded as a woman's malady. Men typically wear short sleeves and no hats under a near tropical sun and do not suffer Depression or "winter" viruses, the exception being government employees who work in offices. I did not know about all that 20 years ago when I met a lass who was manic depressive and had various colds and flus year round. Her family had expected that she would kill herself eventually. Two years later while in the throes of severe flu back in the USA I was given a bottle of D3 and told to take 900 units per pound of body weight all at once. I did and was fine eight hours later. I sent the Vietnamese lass the D3 and instructions. Her flu malady ceased and her depression cycles. I researched it all and found that vitamin D is the missing ingredient that prevents all sorts of cold and flu and depression. Trang now makes a point of going out of doors in short sleeves and knee length skirts. The problem has ameliorated in the last few years as city women more and more adopt western fashions.
