Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson on SiriusXM's 'The Megyn Kelly Show' addressed the divide on the right on Israel and called out Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens for criticizing the situation on the ground in Gaza.

Most of the evangelical community I know is still very pro-Israel. I think what we're talking about is the libertarian, right intellectual movement.
I know that Tucker Carlson is voicing things, Candace Owens has, the CATO Institute's been very vocal. There's some people on that website who've called for breaking relations almost with Israel.
But I don't think it represents most Christians, much less most Americans. But I don't know quite what their argument is because I've seen so many of them.
It doesn't take a lot of brains to say “there's 500 million people in the Middle East and there's 12 million that live in a democratic government.” And that is the only democratic constitutional system there.

I love Tucker Carlson, but he’s dead wrong on Israel 🇮🇱.
Anyone who doesn’t want to support Israel is ignoring that they have major non-nato ally status in US law. The US formally has codified our support for Israel, so claiming that they are not a US ally is simply wrong.
Also, those who ignore the issue of islamic terror toward non-moslems in and adjacent to their regions is being stupid about the islamic religion really being a political order that incorporates religion in its drive for conquest. Israel is responding appropriately to terror in their land. We wish Nigeria would do the same.
Finally, there is the spiritual side of this. Those who ignore the clear indications in the prophets that God will fight for Israel when they’ve returned to nation status after a 2nd dispersion 2000 years ago are ignorant of those things or are fighting God.
Tucker might not be anti semetic but he would be what i call semetically ignorant.
In other words—he has no familiarity with the subject and should avoid discussing it.
And i’m curious if Tucker has ever done a piece on muslim persecution of christians. I doubt he explores that road.
People easily forget what happened on 10/7.
I doubt that many if any of the hostages are alive. Israel needs to finish the job.
2. The spiritual side of this should have been dismissed out of hand when the first "pride" parade was held in Jerusalem, of all places. This kind of thinking looked particularly silly early in the morning of October 7th when Hamas mutants invading from Gaza were preying on "Jews" who had gathered in the desert of southern Israel for some kind of rave concert/festival on the night of a Sabbath that coincided with a holy day in the Jewish calendar. Israel is nothing more than a modern, secular, socialist state that is no different than its counterparts all over Europe. Some of us are as dismissive of Israel as we are of those other countries.
Dispensationalist nonsense conjured up by a cult leader leader (Darby) and disseminated in the U.S. in the first instance by a crooked lawyer (Scofield). It's long past time for American evangelicals to grow up.
Israel isn’t an ally. The only time their military was involved with ours was the USS Liberty.
Carlson has made some good points on other matters but he’s dead wrong about the middle east. We’ve tuned him out now, we certainly don’t need to listen to him or anyone else reiterating the Fakestinian lying narrative and all of the gross lies coming out from terrorist supporters like Biden/Blinken/and the rest of the communist-nazi Useful Idiots.
The other individual in the report we’ve never heard of.

It's actually very simple....You don't get to kill large groups of people to enact an ethno-state.
If we want to change all of the rules of western society and allow for killing large groups of people to enact an ethno-state, that might be something I could get behind. But currently that isn't where we are at.
